Permitting Info:
The Metro Orlando Film & Entertainment Commission assists in permitting by acting as a liaison between production companies and city/county services. In addition to processing your permit, the Film Commission will make arrangements with the police for traffic or crowd control, the fire department for supervision of pyrotechnic effects, and any other required city or county service. The Film Commission also provides the appropriate permitting forms according to the filming location and production activity. Many city/county ordinances specify five days notice to process a permit. Included on a permits is the following information: shooting location(s); dates, times and rain dates if needed; city/county services, number of cast and crew members; a vehicle list with parking requirements; and a general overview of the activity taking place. A Certificate of Insurance must accompany the permit. The insurance must additionally insure the appropriate city or county for $1 million general liability.
